Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically the 360 excavator, to perform various excavation and site development tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance. The successful applicant will contribute to the efficient progress of construction projects, ensuring work is completed accurately and safely. CPCS or NPORS is essential for the role.

Responsibilities

Operate the 360 excavator and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers as needed for construction projects Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and site preparation activities . Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment on-site Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines Load and unload materials using appropriate machinery

Requirements

Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction setting Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment. CPCS or NPORS required. Driiving licence is preferable. Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures Construction site experience is highly desirable Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy loads when necessary Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Must possess relevant certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation if applicable
