Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operators to support various ongoing projects. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating excavators for various construction and earthmoving projects. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for digging, moving materials, and ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators to perform digging, trenching, and other earthmoving tasks as required. Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as necessary. Perform routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role in construction or heavy machinery operation. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and plans. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A commitment to safety and adherence to all health regulations on site.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 18.95-21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
