We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating excavators for various construction projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for digging, grading, and moving materials while adhering to safety regulations and project specifications.

Responsibilities

Operative needs to have grading experience and reliable Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform digging, trenching, and grading tasks as per project requirements. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the excavator to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to dig accurately according to specifications and plans. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Commitment to safety practices and procedures on-site. Flexibility to work varied hours depending on project needs.
