We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently on various projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Duties
Operate excavators to perform digging, lifting, and moving earth or materials in accordance with project specifications
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on excavators to ensure optimal performance and safety
Assist with site preparation, grading, and trenching activities as required
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage
Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or civil engineering setting
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance
Valid commercial driving licence with experience in operating heavy machinery
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times
