Duties

Operate excavators to perform tasks such as digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling in accordance with project specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on excavators to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards. Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials for construction activities. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks on-site. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment issues promptly.

Skills

Proven mechanical knowledge related to excavator operation and maintenance. Experience operating excavators in a construction or industrial setting. Valid CSCS with experience in operating heavy machinery is highly desirable. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
