Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, the ability to dig efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Must have a CSCS CARD AND PREVIOUS EXPIREINCE.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform digging, trenching, and grading tasks as required by project specifications. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of work performed and any materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous. Ability to dig accurately according to project plans and specifications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations at all times. Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
