Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating excavators in various environments. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of excavating machinery to support various projects.

Responsibilities

Operate a 3 ton excavator for digging, grading, and site preparation tasks Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Follow site plans and specifications accurately to meet project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding project progress and any issues that arise. This work will be initially 2 weeks however, it could be extended long term for the right driver Any experience operating a bobcat would be desirable (but not essential)

Experience

Proven experience operating excavators in a commercial setting is essential. Must hold a valid Blue CPCS or NPORS card. Red cards will not be accepted Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to construction sites is advantageous.
