360 Scrap Grab Operator

Job Description
We are looking for a competent 360 Grab Operator to join our team at depot in Shettleston Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The applicant must be flexible and willing to work in a team helping as and when required in other areas of the yard operation.
Capable in all aspects of the role which are not limited to but include the following:
- Work with the well established yard team
- Operate LIEBHERR LH40 with grab attachment
- Load/Unload trucks, containers, and other forms of vehicle.
- Operate LEFORT Shear Machine
- Maintain and look after the plant assigned to you.
- Inspect and grade metal scrap materials delivered.
- Communicate via radios.
- Good awareness of health and safety on site.
- Good time keeping.
Experience in the scrap or waste recycling industries and scrap metals knowledge would be a great advantage.
Excellent pay rate on offer for the right and experienced candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
