365 New Claims Handler - Remote





Salary: 25,000 to 26,000



Remote



Monday to Saturday




37.5 hours per week



Shift options:


Monday to Friday: 8:00-4:30, 9:00-5:30 and 10:30am-7pm Saturdays 9am-5pm




This will be on a shift rotation with the rest of the team

About the Role





The 365 Team is responsible for managing new claims in line with our strategic targets and service level agreements. You'll play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and with a deep understanding of our technical processes and independent portal systems. This role requires a strong grasp of how claims are received, processed, and aligned with our wider business goals and client expectations.

Key Accountabilities





Lead and manage a dispersed team to ensure smooth handling of new claims Take a proactive approach to daily tasks and team performance Handle complaints and escalations professionally and promptly Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (FCA, DPA, TCF) Maintain balanced caseloads across the team in line with service levels Share technical knowledge and legislative updates across the team Communicate effectively via phone, email, and written correspondence Accurately record and manage data in Proclaim Identify training needs and support team development Participate in appraisals, team meetings, and one-to-one sessions Lead by example, inspire positivity, and promote our core values: Integrity, Passion, Innovation, and Excellence Support wider business initiatives and undertake additional duties as required



Skills & Experience





Proven experience in claims management is essential Strong understanding of claims processes, systems, and escalation protocols Previous experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role Excellent technical knowledge of claims handling Strong organisational and time management skills Confident in interpreting MI and using data to drive performance Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities Ability to simplify complex issues and resolve problems efficiently Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset Fluent in Portuguese (Brazilian or other)
