About The Role

As a 3D Artist at Wren, you will be involved with delivering an industry leading experience for our end users of our 3D CAD and high-quality render systems. Working closely with the creative team that includes other 3D Artists and Developers you will play a key part in building cutting edge best - practices and asset pipelines that will cater for our ever-expanding customer base. You will already be experienced using Maya with a good understanding of Unity3D. You will be able to apply your creativity and you will be encouraged to put your ideas forward on all projects you work on.

Main responsibilities:

Creation of 3D models and textures for use in game engine and high quality renders Possess a full understanding of the end-to-end 3D pipeline and architecture Collaborating with JavaScript and C# Developers to investigate customer queries and rectify any issues which arise Work closely with others within the 3D team to help develop better working practises and future proof asset management

About You

Essential skills and knowledge:

Strong experience of 3D modelling Understanding of Maya software packages Understanding of the Unity3D software package Passion for driving improvement Keen desire to keep up to date with technology Blender Knowledge Photoshop Skills GIT Skills

Desirable:

Excellent communicator Degree level education or equivalent in computer science or games development Experience with JavaScript, Python or C# Working knowledge of the agile/scrum software development process Experience with image editing software Experience working with VR
