Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a 3D CAD Operator who will work for The London Door Company based in our Trafford Park Offices in Manchester.
The Role:
You will be responsible for finalising manufacturing drawings, based on details supplied by surveyors Modelling of special parts and production of drawings for suppliers Modelling and assembly of pre-manufacturing drawings for client approval Designing Lead Light glass panels, based on a set range Final sign off, of all documents pre-manufacture Working with both sales and survey divisions
A Successful Applicant Will:
Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of 3D CAD software (Solidworks will be advantageous) Have a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator Have a good level of IT literacy Understand basic joinery Have a keen eye for details and an understanding of traditional design Be able to use initiative and problem solve Work to tight deadlines in a fast paced work environment Be able to communicate for other departments within the business confidently
