Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit 3D CAD designers / Technical drawing users to work within our Staircase drawing department based in Manchester. Please note that these are starter roles and therefore suitable for recent graduates or similarly skilled individuals.

The technical drawing team is responsible for creating the final technical drawings and bills of materials for our client\'s Staircase projects prior to manufacturing and fitting. It is a technically challenging and rewarding role with much to learn.

The Role:

• This team is responsible for using 3D Solidworks to create CAD models of the client\'s Staircase and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and fitting
• Creating and issuing purchasing documents
• Supporting and working with other teams within the business

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience in 3D CAD, in particular Solidworks, with good examples of technical drawings
• Be IT literate to a good standard
• Have an eye for detail
• Be able to problem solve and use their own initiative
• Be able to communicate with other departments within the business confidently
• Previous knowledge of fitting or joinery would be advantageous
