Main Purpose of the job:

Learn all aspects of engineering and increase product knowledge, Assist the Engineering Manager to complete tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

Produce CAD drawings according to client specifications.

Produce production drawings using CAM software.

Produce Autodesk Inventor 3D drawings for folding and assembly

Working with a design engineer and individually on the design and development of new products.

Punch and press brake machines programming

Products and processes - continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process

Interdepartmental support and communication

Work independently and provide engineering solutions

Job Surveys and processing

Creating production drawings using CAD software.

KPI/Measures:

Produce designs to the correct specifications

Layout designs accurately and in a way other can understand.

Program machines efficiently

Essential skills and knowledge:

Good computer skills

Good planning skills

Familiar with Microsoft office

Expert with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD

Familiar with Radan3D and Raddraft

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different tasks

Ability to read engineering drawings

Formal engineering qualification

Good understanding of engineering principles
