Nurtureville Nursery is looking for a Level 3 Room Leader/3rd in charge to join our friendly lovely team. We are offering the starting pay at 13.00-13.50 per hour this can be discussed at the interview stage dependent on experience and qualifications.
We are located in Loughton in Milton Keynes situated conveniently next to local amenities and Milton Keynes Central train station.
We are a small friendly nursery that is built in the heart of Loughton, we have a strong team who provide excellent care for the children in our nursery. We offer a home from home approach and like to ensure we provide each child the best before leaving us to go off to big school.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a drive to provide excellent care. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting involved in messy play jumping in puddles singing and dancing ! Someone who puts child centred learning at the heart of everything they do!
Responsibilities
To ensure high quality interactions with children based on individual need/stage of development.
To demonstrate a positive approach to children's behaviour working in-line with our policy and procedure and OFSTED expectations.
To support the management in mentoring and coaching staff to ensure staff are following policies and procedures within the rooms.
To step up when needed to assist the manager in the day to day running of the nursery .
Supporting and encouraging staff with knowledge and ideas.
To ensure we are adhering to compliance documentation
To ensure there are professional, positive relationships demonstrated with parents which is reflected among the staff team
To understand and implement planning in the moment
To ensure the environment offers rich, first-hand learning opportunities for all children which accommodates a holistic approach to the curriculum
To ensure children's interests are being met and appropriate teaching methods are being used to extend children's thinking and learning.
To ensure all children are making progress to their full potential
Ensure that you observe and record observations on our online platform.
Ensure assessments are complete on a termly basis and that initial assessments are completed in a timely manner
To ensure all children are given the opportunity to be independent
To ensure all children have the opportunity to be physically challenged
To ensure the correct paperwork in relation to the child, for example care plans, all about me forms, medicine forms, transition forms and two-year progress check (where appropriate) etc
To ensure there is a robust and effective key person approach adopted
To be approachable and supportive to staff under going training and development.
To cascade any information or updates to management and your staff team
To keep abreast and adhere with changes in accordance to policies and procedures
Role model, facilitate and work alongside staff to demonstrate high quality practise
To safeguard all children in our care
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
A level 3 or equivalent is a must for this role .
Able to do 40 hours a week full time on a rota basis.
Good communication skills bothy written and verbal
Good time management.
