3rd Line MS Teams Engineer

As a Barclays 3rd Line MS Teams Engineer you\xe2\x80\x99ll be a key part of our wider team providing M365 technical support to the Barclays global business. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working closely with technology, colleagues and vendors to deliver the best possible service to the Barclays staff who rely on it. Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. What will you be doing?

• Providing the technical expertise needed to deliver a quality IT service (MS Teams)
• Taking the lead on working with vendors and IT colleagues to ensure service performance and stability
• Providing a rapid response to major incidents with an adverse impact on Barclays colleagues
• You will be 3rd line incident support and resolution for incidents relating to MS Teams, including coordination of effort with Barclays colleagues and vendor partners as required
• Overseeing problem management of persistent issues to prevent incident reoccurrence and improve service performance and stability
• Having a proactive approach to continual service improvement and enhancement of the user experience
• Understanding risk, control and security responsibilities, take ownership of issues where appropriate
• You will deliver break-fix, essential maintenance and product improvement changes to the highest standard and following the Barclays Change Management process.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Experience of administrating and supporting MS Teams
• Knowledge of other M365 products e.g. Purview, SharePoint Online
• Understanding of Azure AD and Tenant management (preferred)
• Experience of working in Financial Services or as a service provider for Financial Services (preferred)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• A drive for high performance, both for yourself and the service you are delivering
• Recognised Microsoft qualifications: M365 Fundamentals; M365 Security Administrator; Enterprise Administrator Expert (preferred)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in a service operations environment
• Scripting capability, including PowerShell

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
