This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive person to join our growing team, providing Managed IT services to a wide variety of businesses.
Based at home you will provide high level assistance and a point of escalation to our IT Support team, resolving more complex issues for our customers, remotely and over the phone, with occasional visits to customers when required (mostly in Lincolnshire).
You will be helping to support a wide variety of companies with all aspects of IT including servers, desktops, laptops, networks, firewalls and Office365, so the job is extremely varied and will require a broad experience.
You will be able to influence the IT solutions used both internally and by our clients and so will keep on top of the latest developments in IT, and help implement those technologies where appropriate. As such the ideal candidate will have a keen personal interest in the IT world and keeping themselves informed.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of our internal systems, including backup platforms, RMM tools, and Microsoft 365 environments. The role will involve maintaining, monitoring, and optimising these platforms while identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation. You'll play a key part in developing and improving our internal operations, ensuring they run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Essential Requirements:

Must be located in Lincolnshire or East side of Nottinghamshire. This role is predominantly based at home but occasional customer site visits may be required, so being local is important. Minimum of 7 years in IT support, preferably in an MSP environment Minimum of 7 years experience of supporting Windows Server (2012 to 2025) with good working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy. Minimum of 7 years experience of providing support for Microsoft based software including 365, Windows and Office. Minimum of 7 years experience of networking including VPNs and firewalls. You will be flexible and able to work through a mixture of simple and more complex problems from start to finish. A quiet space at home to work with fast broadband internet access is essential. A clean driving license and presentable car insured for business use.

All equipment is provided including laptop, screens and VOIP desk phone. Engineers working from home provides better coverage across the county for on-site support and will allow you to gain a better work/life balance by removing the daily commute while gaining the financial benefit of no associated travel costs.
