The successful candidate will be assisting with completing project works, reactive response and planned maintenance services of Fire Alarm Systems to a wide variety of public and private sector clients throughout Northern Ireland. Will assist with expanding the fire division by securing new contracts and project work.
What you'll do
The following reflects the main activities of this role:
Responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of fire alarms systems. The engineer will travel to customer locations, to complete the relevant service and maintenance work.
The engineer will also have the responsibility to plan and schedule their work for each day.
For each task, the engineer will complete the necessary paperwork (increasingly electronic)
Essential Criteria
To have experience in the installation, servicing and maintaining of fire detection, access control and CCTV systems.
To have a working knowledge of fire products and systems.
Knowledge of relevant Fire Alarm standards (BS:5839:2017)
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills and ability to resolve issues in a logical manner.
To have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and complete service call-out documentation.
To have the ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers and outside bodies.
