Job Title: Locum Consultant in Haematology
Location: South Wales
Rate: 90 - 110
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP - April 2026
1:7 on call ideally but there is potential to negotiate.
Dept will discuss job plan/rota with shortlisted candidates directly.
There are general and malignant haematology clinics to run.
Inpatients to review.
Remote cover.
SACT patients to review. USC referrals to evaluate.
On call to cover. Medical staff to train. 40 hours- 10 sessions plus on call

About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Haematology, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Responsibilities

• Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff
• Contributing to service development and audits

What We're Looking For
Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
