Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class 1 drivers for our 4 On 4 Off positions based in Immingham. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for operating lorries in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all road traffic regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timesheets and vehicle checks. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely deliveries. Follow company policies regarding health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 driving licence with no more than six penalty points. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification is essential. Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the shift pattern.

Pay Scale

PAYE 148 Day rate plus 25 night out allowance. LTD 180 Day rate Plus 25 night out allowance.
