Job Description

ASR is the UK's leading gearbox repair company with 25 centres nationwide. Due to rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced 4x4 towing driver to collect and deliver customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:


- Safely operate company truck and trailer (Mitsubishi L200 with Brian James T6 trailer) to transport customer vehicles to and from our centeres
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of vehicles
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely collection and deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with our head office, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each vehicle
- Ensuring the truck is presentable at all times

Requirements:



Due to insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 27 or over This role requires a Standard DBS check, and appointment is subject to satisfactory clearance appropriate to the position Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial driving role Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points in the last 3 years Minimum 5 years of driving experience Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Towing experience is an advantage
