Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team at East Yorkshire Hydraulics Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of mechanical equipment and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries that support our engineering operations. Non-dirving activities include assisting in a workshop and use of forklift.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently for deliveries. Ensure timely delivery of hydraulic systems and components to clients. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. When not driving, assisting in an engineering workshop with labouring/use of forklift (training will be provided if required).

Requirements

Valid UK driving license with appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver. Strong understanding of road safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
