We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne curtain-sided lorry safely and responsibly, complying with all road traffic laws and company policies Plan delivery routes effectively to meet deadlines and optimise fuel efficiency Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon completion of deliveries Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays Adhere to health and safety standards at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar lorries Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and customer service skills Valid driving licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles, with a clean driving record Experience in handling goods securely during transit and understanding of vehicle safety checks Knowledge of relevant road regulations and safety procedures for commercial drivers
