Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely and secure transportation. We hires drivers for 7.5 tonne lorries, requiring a C1 licence, Driver CPC, and Tacho Card.

These roles involve delivering parcels and require excellent customer service skill, 20 drops and collections 8-6 Monday to Friday.

We CRS group ltd were based in Liverpool with offices in Bognor, Blackpool. We've worked with FedEx for 20 + years have 48 depots nationwide that we deal with supplying warehouse and all class of drivers.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry in compliance with all road safety and traffic regulations Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules Conduct vehicle safety checks prior to each shift and report any maintenance issues Assist with the loading and unloading process as required Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery progress or issues encountered Adhere to all health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar equipment Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently Ability to operate a flatbed lorry safely under varying conditions Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality service at all times
