This is initially a temporary assignment for a 13-week period, with strong potential for permanent employment following successful completion of the probationary period and performance review

Shift Pattern:

Work one week Monday to Saturday (6 days) with early starts from 4:00 AM, shifts lasting 8 hours Alternate week Monday to Friday (5 days), also starting at 4:00 AM, with 8-hour shifts

Must have -:

Full UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Digital Tachograph Card

Key responsibilities -:

Carry out daily multi-drop deliveries, following planned routes efficiently Work to a demanding schedule, completing deliveries on time while maintaining excellent customer service Load and unload the vehicle manually, handling fresh produce and other goods requiring physical effort Complete all necessary delivery documentation and scanning accurately using handheld devices Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any defects immediately Communicate effectively with depot teams and customers regarding delivery updates or issues Adhere to all road safety, tachograph, and company regulations

Skills required -:

Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Physically fit and able to perform repetitive handballing and manual handling tasks Strong time management and route planning skills to meet tight delivery schedules Good communication and customer service skills Attention to detail for accurate scanning and paperwork completion Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Reliable, punctual, and motivated to work independently Good standard of spoken and written English Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is preferred
