Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivery driving and handling flatbed vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of flatbed cargo, adhering to all safety regulations. Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with road safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles. Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with flatbed delivery experience. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
