Job Summary

Be part of our growing warehouse business delivering drinks into pubs, bars and restaurants. We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7 tonne van driver to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of drinks to various locations in the north UK. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to all driving regulations.

Duties

Drive and operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle in a safe and compliant manner. Carry out deliveries of beverages, including cask and keg products. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring vehicle is loaded and balanced securely. Complete delivery app accurately and obtain proof of delivery. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects. Comply with all road transport and driving legislation, as well as company policies. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle. Support warehouse operations if required.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for a 7.5 tonne vehicle. Valid Category C (7 tonne) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A positive attitude towards customer service.
