Job Description

We are looking for a motivated recovery driver who can deal well in a reactive environment.

Must have the ability to design routes for efficiency when completing jobs.

Must have good communication skills for when dealing with customers on the phone and face to face.

Experience in the recovery industry is not essential but preferred- as long as you can drive confidently, handle the truck safely, and take pride in doing your job properly.

Experience driving a 7.5t rigid truck required

Responsibilities

Drive and operate a 7.5-ton recovery truck to assist customers and transport vehicles
Safely carry out vehicle loading and unloading, including the use of winches, skates, and handling more complex recovery jobs - not just straightforward recoveries
Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and partners
Follow company procedures and keep the truck clean and well maintained
7.5t drivers licence

24hrs a day on call

Drivers are required to be working a 6 day working week - 1 day off per week, for example clock off at 6pm Monday evening and required to be back working from 6am Wednesday morning - meaning a minimum of 36hrs time off on a weekly basis

Holidays and extra time off is on a discretionary basis and worked between drivers as and when needed - we are a fair and understanding company that currently work well as a team

The job consists of recovery/breakdown and transport jobs in the northwest - covering Warrington, Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas

All equipment provided;

self jacking skates - jump pack - jack etc

Company branded work clothing provided

Working on a self employed basis, drivers must have your own trade policy in place

Earnings are estimated between 1500-2000 per week

The company has 4 drivers on the road to split the work between fairly
