Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Bulk Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will need to have a valid driver CPC qualification, DQC and digital tachograph card.

Duties

Operate a 7.5 tonne tail lift equipped lorry to carry out bulk deliveries of goods across the Chichester and Bognor Regis area, driving an automatic vehicle. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order, bringing to Management attention any defects with the vehicle Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items, using lifting equipment provided, as required. Maintain accurate delivery records through use of a handheld PDA. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a safe driving environment for yourself and others on the road. Communicate effectively with team members and the traffic department at all times.

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with a 7.5t entitlement. Valid HGV Driver CPC essential Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver in a similar commercial driving role is essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in routing deliveries. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
