Job Summary

We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle to deliver goods to various locations. This role requires a reliable, experienced driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and excellent customer service skills. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery driver experience and be committed to maintaining high safety standards throughout their work.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle for daily deliveries and collections Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies during driving operations

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a minimum of category C1 (7.5 Tonne) entitlement Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles Delivery driver experience preferred, with excellent knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading goods Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively Good communication skills and professional attitude towards clients and colleagues Commitment to safety standards and compliance with legal driving requirements
