We are currently seeking a dedicated 7.5T Driver to join our New Castle Depot team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe deliveries, maintaining quality and safety standards, and upholding the values of Blok 'N' Mesh with customers and partners.

Working Hours

8am - 5pm (40hours/week)

What You'll Do:

Effective Deliveries and Collections

Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections to meet customer and depot requirements, following any specific instructions for safe and efficient handling. Provide high-quality customer service during each delivery, representing Blok 'N' Mesh professionally on-site.

Adherence to Health & Safety Regulations

Follow all health and safety guidelines to minimize risk and promote a safe working environment, both at the depot and customer sites. Ensure all work activities are performed in compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.

Accurate Documentation Management

Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately, noting any discrepancies or issues clearly. Maintain detailed records of each journey, including delivery locations, times, and specific handling requirements.

Yard Support and Collaboration

Support yard operations by assisting with loading, unloading, and organizing stock as needed. Work collaboratively with the depot team to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.

Professional Conduct & Company Representation

Uphold Blok 'N' Mesh's reputation in all interactions with customers, suppliers, and team members, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity. Act as a positive company ambassador, ensuring a reliable and respectful service experience.

Vehicle Checks and Maintenance

Perform daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly to keep vehicles safe and compliant. Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and organization, ensuring it meets all company and legal standards.

Regulatory Compliance for Driver Documentation

Complete driver documentation, including tachograph records, in accordance with company policies and transportation regulations. Stay updated on relevant regulations to ensure compliance at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

7.5T Driving License

with experience in safe and efficient driving.

Experience with ratchet straps

and secure load handling techniques.

Attention to Detail

to ensure accuracy in documentation and regulatory compliance.

Health and Safety Awareness

to support safe practices at all times.
