About the Opportunity:

Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver Salary: 26,500 per annum Contract: Permanent, 32 hours per week (4 days), 16:00 - midnight Location: North West and North Staffordshire

The Coffee House, a passionate chain of independent coffee shops, has been serving the North West since 2011. Beginning in Lymm village, we've grown steadily while maintaining our commitment to quality, innovation, and community values. Our new central facility in Warrington, which includes our Cookhouse, BakeHouse, Roastery, and Warehouse, is now looking for dedicated delivery drivers to join our team.

Role Overview: As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you'll play a crucial role in delivering our homemade produce and ambient goods to our stores. Beginning your journey at 16:00, you'll ensure our guests receive our fresh products to enjoy in store each morning.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive vehicle checks before driving, adhering to Health and Safety standards. Secure loads safely and compliantly at the warehouse. Follow checklists to ensure all company processes are completed accurately. Travel between store locations on predefined routes, delivering goods with precision. Ensure store premises are secured correctly upon delivery. Return the vehicle to the warehouse, unpack returned items, and complete closing checklists, maintaining a clean workspace. Communicate effectively with our team and customers. Assist with other logistics and inventory tasks as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:

Depending on driving schedules, you may be required to assist with various stock processes within the warehouse.
Requirements:

A valid Category C or C1 Driving License (including drivers who passed their car test before 1 January 1997). Flexibility to work weekends and evenings (until midnight) as part of a balanced schedule. Reliability and strong attention to detail. Ability to work well within a team. Physical capability to handle manual tasks. Cash handling experience is preferred.
