Mudwalls (Food Group) are a growing consolidator / distributor, relating to the supply of Fine Food and Drink, including Mudwalls Fresh Produce, to the independent Retail / Foodservice sectors. All the products we supply are consolidated and distributed from our purpose-built Facilitation Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire. This ensures that all the Fine Food and Drink we supply meets the strict Mudwalls (Food Group) standards.
Due to continued company growth, Mudwalls (Food Group) are recruiting for a
7.5T Refrigerated Driver
to join our existing team.

Key Requirements
Must Live within a 20-mile radius of our Head Office address (B98 0RE)
Physical fitness to manage manual handling when required
Experience in a similar role with chilled multi-drop experience (7.5T) is preferred but not essential
Must hold Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Driver Card
Own Transport and Full UK Driving License (maximum of 6 penalty points)
No DD's, DR's, IN10's for Insurance purposes
Must be aged 25 or over for Insurance purposes
Must have experience of the relevant HGV based on licence category
Current FLT license would be an advantage but not essential
Hold the required standard of English language and literacy in relation to the role
Completion and recording of all company documentation as required
High standards of personal and food hygiene to be practiced at all times
Flexibility (prepared to perform any other reasonable requested duties as requested)
Ensuring vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy, completing daily defect checks and reporting any defects
Safely securing loads and goods for transport
Keeping informed of road closures, accidents and traffic diversions
Organising and responding to multiple drop-off, delivery and collection requirements in each working day
Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of collections
Updating vehicle documents, recording deliveries and tracking mileage
Ensuring compliance with all legal obligations relevant to licence category
Complying with all legal and in-house regulations and rules
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
Maintain high level of professional behaviour at all times
Job Spec
Knowledge of O-License working / driving / break time compliance is important
Customer facing role, delivering to Retail Customers & collecting from Suppliers
Flexible Full time contract aligned with business requirements (inc Saturday's and Bank Holidays)
Driving 3.5t to 7.5t Refrigerated Vehicles (with and without tail lift)
Days only (no night shift work) within business operating times of approx.. 5:30am-5:30pm
Flexible 6 day business operation (Mon to Sat) with no Sunday working
Happy to consider candidates who have recently passed their 7.5T qualification
