We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. Duties

MUST HAVE C1 Licence

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-journey checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and compliant with safety standards. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that items are secured properly for transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in a safe manner. Liaise with & support the team to generate sales. Liaise with current and potential customers, identifying needs and opportunities. Ensure sales are processed promptly and accurately Ensure customer enquiries are processed efficiently and effectively Identify and promote sales opportunities using a variety of techniques.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver, with a valid 7.5 tonne driving licence. Strong commercial driving skills, with an understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers. Experience with heavy lifting and handling of goods safely. A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering excellent service.
