Job Overview

Europipes (UK) Ltd are seeking a reliable 7.5tn Lorry Driver to join our small team. The successful candidate will hold a licence for 7.5tn lorry with CPC, be able to secure the load themselves and be willing to load the vehicle using a forklift.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm with no overnights. Overtime is encouraged and early start times are often required.

Training will be provided where necessary. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties Include, but not limited to

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations Load and unload goods, ensuring that they are secured properly for transport using ropes and straps Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and stock replenishment

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) is essential Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
