As a member of the Assisted & Automated Driving Domain within JLR's Digital Product Platform groups, you will interface with global internal engineering groups as well as external vendors to build up, commission and release development engineering assets. Working as part of a small team your contributions will have a direct impact on the realisation and release of the fleet of vehicles used to make product development goals a realisation for our customers.

Lead the integration of vehicle ECUs, sensors, and software to ensure seamless communication and system functionality across platforms and environments. Develop and maintain embedded APIs and middleware to support robust data exchange and scalable automotive architectures. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, validation, IT, and supplier teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions. Own diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting activities to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. Support vehicle-level integration activities, including preparation, updates, and coordination with manufacturing teams for both prototype and production builds.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:





Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you'll need to have to help you succeed here, including:



Automotive Communication Protocols - Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet for in-vehicle networking. Embedded Systems Programming - Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for developing and integrating automotive control software and middleware. Linux-Based Development - Experience working with automotive Linux platforms (e.g., QNX), including shell scripting and system-level troubleshooting.
+ Diagnostics & Testing Tools - Skilled in using tools like Vector CANoe, ETAS INCA, and applying structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 5D, Fault Tree).
