You will be a key part of the production team and will be involved in the preparation of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Full in-house training will be provided on all our systems to get you up to speed and producing the excellent quality of work we are renowned for.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role are:
Assisting in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies up to review level
Preparing and finalising self-assessment tax returns.
Preparing interim management accounts for clients.
Completing periodic bookkeeping for clients
Providing Xero training to our clients
Performing ad-hoc tasks to meet the needs of our clients.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:
You should feel confident working both independently, and supporting and working with the team as a whole to meet our targets and deliver work for our clients.
You should feel comfortable multi-tasking when required.
A fine eye for detail to produce accurate and reliable information.
A methodical and organised approach to work.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, to be able to contribute in team meetings to better understand our business as a whole.
A drive and commitment to fully commit and achieve in whatever task is set.
An inquisitive mind. Ask questions!
A track record of passing exams with high marks.
Fully or part AAT qualified
Good working knowledge of all main Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel.
At least 18 months experience working in the accounting field
