are seeking a skilled and reliablesubcontractor AC Engineer
to support our upcomingCat B office fit-out
in Central London. The project scope includesfull VRV heating and cooling systems
,dedicated ventilation via local heat recovery units
,tea point extracts
, and associatedmechanical services
.The ideal candidate will be
self-employed
with proven experience incommercial air conditioning installation, commissioning, and maintenance
across high-end office environments.Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission
VRV/VRF heating and cooling systems
. Fit and connectlocal heat recovery ventilation units
andtea point extract systems
. Work from and interpretmechanical drawings and schematics
accurately. Carry outpipework installation, refrigerant charging, pressure testing, and leak detection
. Ensure installations comply withF-Gas regulations
and site-specific standards. Collaborate with electrical and building teams to integratecontrol systems
. Perform fault-finding, testing, and reactive maintenance as required. Adhere tohealth and safety protocols
, site rules, and company procedures.Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3
in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).F-Gas Category 1
certification (essential).CSCS
(preferred). Proven experience oncommercial office fit-out projects
(essential).Own tools, transport, and valid public liability insurance.
Ability to work independently or as part of a wider M&E delivery team.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 220.00-240.00 per day
