We are seeking a motivated
Maths Academic Mentor
to support students in developing confidence, fluency, and problem-solving skills in Mathematics.The mentor will work with individuals and small groups, supporting attainment and engagement while gaining valuable experience for those considering a future in teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-to-one and small-group mentoring in
Maths
Support students with core mathematical concepts and exam preparation Track student progress and engagement Work closely with Maths teachers and pastoral teams Promote independent learning, confidence, and resilience Keep accurate records and contribute to progress reviews Act as a positive role model for academic successPerson Specification
Degree in
Mathematics or a related subject
(essential) Interest in progressing intoteacher training
(desirable) Strong numeracy and communication skills Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities Organised, dependable, and proactive Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeingJob Type: Part-time
Pay: 97.68-110.00 per day
Expected hours: 30 per week
Work Location: In person
