to play a key role in supporting academic operations at Laine Theatre Arts. This is a varied and influential position at the heart of the Academic team, combining responsibility for academic records, assessment administration, and governance support.
Working closely with senior academic colleagues, you'll help ensure that academic systems run smoothly, records are accurate and secure, and academic standards are consistently upheld across the institution.
What you'll be doing:
Keeping course documentation accurate, up to date, and compliant
Managing student academic records with care, precision, and confidentiality
Acting as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for academic administration queries
Supporting the full assessment cycle, from scheduling and moderation through to the secure release of results
Recording and processing assessment outcomes, progression decisions, and awards
Supporting assessment boards and academic committees, including agendas, papers, minutes, and action tracking
Maintaining clear audit trails for academic decisions and student outcomes
Collecting and maintaining graduate outcomes and destinations data
Supporting academic quality assurance activity, reviews, validations, and external audits
Using digital systems such as SharePoint and VLE platforms to manage academic documentation securely

You'll be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with complex information. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across academic and professional services teams and take pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
You'll bring:
Experience in academic or student administration within an education setting
Confidence using SharePoint and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) platforms
A strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and written communication
It would be great if you also have:
Experience in the performing arts or creative education sector
Experience supporting senior leadership or governance processes
Safeguarding training or qualifications
