About the role




We are seeking someone employed in media relations at a top flight North East football club to teach towards our undergraduate Club Journalism module for BA (Hons) Sports journalism students in 2026.


This is a highly specialised role to prepare our students for employment at sports clubs and will involve

six taught sessions of five hours each from January to May 2026

.


It will involve preparing lecture and workshop material, giving feedback to students on their work, and marking assessments.
