Hours:
Full-time to include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will divide their time between our employment and the Premier League Coach Development Programme.

Start Date:
From September 2025 (pending completion of safer recruitment checks). It is a mandatory requirement that you can attend the Premier League induction days on 29th September 2025 to 2nd October 2025.

BHAFC in partnership with the Premier League, is proud to support the Coach Inclusion & Diversity Scheme for the 2025/26 season. The Coach Inclusion and Diversity Scheme, Season 2025/26, will provide a high-quality fixed-term employment and development programme to the successful candidate.

What is the opportunity with Brighton & Hove Albion FC?
We're offering a 23-month, full-time academy coaching role to the successful candidate to support the development of the next generation of football coaches. Coaches will have the opportunity to rotate within a multidisciplinary team across all age groups of our boy's pathway in a coaching role. Although the role will predominantly work within our Foundation Phase, it is a fully integrated and intensive programme which is designed to accelerate the successful candidates' coaching knowledge and ability to better equip them for a sustainable career in full-time coaching.

Access to FA/UEFA qualifications
On successful completion of all programme elements, you'll be awarded a Diploma in Professional Football Coaching from Leeds Beckett University.
Your experience and qualifications
To be considered for this role coaches must not have had previous experience of holding a full-time coaching role in either a Premier League or EFL club at first team or academy level.
We are looking for a coach who has a passion for player development and a drive to coach in the professional game. You will have resilience, excellent communication and relationship building skills and be a role model to our academy players and a desire to be an ambassador for diversity in the game.
You will hold the following qualifications:
UEFA B licence
In-date FA Safeguarding certificate
In-date FA Emergency Aid certificate
Enhanced DBS certificate (to be arranged via the club)
