Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Academy Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in football coaching, a commitment to player development, and the ability to inspire young athletes to achieve their best both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement age-appropriate training sessions tailored to individual player needs and skill levels. Conduct weekly training sessions, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. Lead competitive league matches and tournaments on weekends, ensuring a positive and competitive environment. Assess player performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with fellow coaches to create a cohesive training program that aligns with our academy's objectives. Foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and academy management regarding player progress and areas for improvement. Attend coaching workshops and seminars to stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and methodologies.

Qualifications:

FA Level 2/UEFA C Coaching Qualification (or higher) is preferred. Previous coaching experience, particularly with youth teams, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of football fundamentals and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all players. Current DBS check or the ability to obtain one.
