About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to take on the role of Academy Supervisor. This position is central to supporting our Academy teaching team and ensuring the smooth, consistent delivery of sessions for our youngest swimmers.
Key Responsibilities:
o
Oversee the day-to-day running of Academy sessions.
o
Support and mentor Academy teachers, ensuring consistency and quality across all sessions.
o
Maintain attendance and swimmer progression records.
o
Assist with swimmer assessments and transitions into the competitive squads.
o
Support the Head Coach and Club Administrator with planning, staffing, communication, and Academy development initiatives.
About You:
o
Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
o
Positive, proactive, and able to motivate both young swimmers and teaching staff.
o
Experience in a supervisory or teaching role within a swimming environment is desirable.
o
Swim England Teaching Level 2 qualification required.

Duties
Lead and supervise swim instructors, ensuring the delivery of engaging and effective swimming lessons
Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Foster a positive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and enjoyment among swimmers
Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote programme growth through community engagement
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and staff performance
Experience
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within a swimming or aquatic environment
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous management or supervisory roles
Strong organisational abilities with experience in programme planning and staff coordination
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, participants, and parents
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to aquatic facilities is desirable
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching swimming, sports coaching, and leading teams. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting aquatic safety.

Pay: From 18.20 per hour
