Role Overview



As Accommodation Manager, you will lead and oversee the accommodation and housekeeping functions to ensure impeccable standards across guest bedrooms and public areas. This hands-on leadership role is essential for maintaining our commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Management



Oversee daily housekeeping and accommodation operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet luxury standards. Conduct routine inspections and quality audits of guest and public areas. Proactively address maintenance or presentation issues by liaising with relevant departments.

Team Leadership & Training



Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the accommodation team. Produce efficient staff rotas aligned with occupancy and departmental needs. Deliver regular coaching and performance reviews to foster development.

Guest Experience



Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, feedback, or complaints. Coordinate with Reception, Front Office, and Concierge to provide seamless VIP or special guest service.

Financial & Inventory Control



Manage accommodation department budget, payroll, and cost controls. Monitor and order supplies (linen, amenities, cleaning products) following stock control procedures.

Health, Safety & Compliance



Uphold all company SOPs, health & safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. Ensure strict key control and incident reporting protocols are observed.

Cross?Department Collaboration



Work with the General Manager, Front Office, Maintenance, HR, and Sales teams to support hotel objectives. Communicate guest feedback and departmental results in management meetings.

Candidate Profile



Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Accommodation Manager, Head Housekeeper, or Executive Housekeeper) in a 4? or 5?star luxury hotel.

Leadership:

Strong team-leadership and interpersonal skills.

Attention to Detail:

Demonstrates exceptional standards and organisational discipline.

Communication:

Confident verbal and written communicator in English.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Guest-Focused:

Passion for delivering high-end, personalised service aligned with modern Irish luxury values.
