We are now seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager with Front Office experience to join us from

March 2026

. This role will oversee housekeeping operations and provide support to the Front Office team, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience.

Role Overview



The Accommodation Manager will take responsibility for the management of the housekeeping department and also support Front Office operations when required. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong accommodation management experience combined with an understanding of reception procedures, guest relations, and coordination between departments.

You will lead and train staff, ensure exceptional room standards, support reception tasks, and work closely with all departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities



Accommodation / Housekeeping Management



Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards Conduct regular room and public area inspections Manage laundry services, linen control, and housekeeping supplies Coordinate maintenance issues promptly

Front Office Support



Assist the Front Office team during busy periods or staff shortages Support check-in and check-out procedures when required Maintain effective communication between Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure room readiness Assist with guest queries, complaints, and service recovery Ensure accurate reporting of room status and operational updates

Team Leadership & HR Responsibilities



Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise accommodation staff Provide ongoing coaching and performance management Promote a positive work environment and uphold company standards Ensure departmental adherence to Health & Safety, COSHH, and company policies

Administration & Coordination



Manage departmental budgets and stock levels Prepare rotas and manage labour costs Complete monthly reports, audits, and compliance documents Support the General Manager with operational planning

Requirements



Previous experience as an Accommodation Manager, Head Housekeeper, or Supervisor Experience working in a

Front Office/Reception

role within a hotel Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak seasons Experience with hotel PMS systems Knowledge of scheduling and budget control Guest service or customer relations experience
