Jeffco Ltd is a small Chartered Accountancy firm with a rapidly growing client base. We are looking for energetic applicants who are committed to a long term vision of professional development. This role would be ideal to people wanting to achieve long term goals for themselves and our customers.

We work closely with our customers to develop a close mutual understanding that allows accounting process to be delivered efficiently and tailored to the clients needs. This creates a platform to add value to our customers through our commercial understanding linked to accounting support.

Our client base affords a wide range of commercial exposure including:

Listed companies on both London Stock Exchange and Aquis Investment property Primary health care provision Quoted investments Personal advisory work to high net worth individuals Day-to-day management of a family investment company (FIC) sea container storage retail businesses listed equities Non-for-profit in the health-tech industry

Involvement

Accounts preparation for management, interim and full year accounts Corporate tax return preparation Budget setting Investment analysis Project work on expansion of business opportunities

Experience, skills and knowledge requirements

Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA) Up-to-date technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP Working knowledge of Xero and other cloud accounting softwares Working knowledge in corporation tax Outstanding organisational skills and ability to work alone Microsoft office proficiency including Excel and Word Communication skills to engage to clients and explain areas of accountancy in a language that they understand An obsessional attention to detail and leave no stone unturned
As part of a dynamic team your work will be completely office based at our offices in George Street

Contracted hours will be 35 hours per week with core hours between 10:00 and 16:00.
