What you will be doing


To spearhead new business development initiatives focused on acquiring and nurturing high-value, strategic (lighthouse) accounts. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy by penetrating complex enterprise targets and cultivating long-term, revenue-generating relationships.


Responsible for successfully sourcing and building executive-level relationships within targeted enterprise accounts, creating a robust and strategically balanced pipeline that drives business wins and sustainable revenue and margin growth across multiple business lines.



Lead acquisition efforts from first engagement through to established revenue streams, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure new accounts smoothly transitioned from incubation phases into scalable, long-term business contributors.



To consistently deliver conversion of high-value, multi-stakeholder deals by aligning tailored solutions responding to customer challenges, resulting in accelerated decision cycles and optimised deal value and budget target achievement.



To showcase the differentials in Ricoh's value proposition in competitive enterprise environments by ensuring seamless integration of specialist support and delivering an exceptional customer experience across all sales engagements to create long-term trust and business relationships.



Responsible for maintaining rigorous discipline in CRM and pipeline management, enabling real-time visibility of sales activity, accurate forecasting, and strategic reporting aligned to revenue targets.



To undertake prospective client profiling, pre-qualification of wallet spend opportunity and Account Business Planning to maximise selling opening is achieved.



Actively contribute to a high-performing sales culture by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and setting a high standard in execution, accountability, and professionalism.


You will ideally have


Experience landing and expanding strategic accounts (e.g., lighthouse or Fortune 500 clients). Background in technology, SaaS, professional services, or complex solution sales. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed multi-million-pound targets in competitive environments. Experience working with or within high-performance sales teams in matrix or cross-functional structures. Strong understanding of market segmentation, vertical selling, and industry-specific challenges. Strategic Prospecting & New Business Development - Ability to identify, qualify, and pursue high-value new business opportunities. Skilled in building and executing targeted go-to-market strategies. Strong research and market intelligence capabilities to uncover prospect needs and buying signals. Proven experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Expertise in consultative and solution and value-based selling approaches. Ability to tailor value propositions to enterprise customer pain points and strategic goals. Ability to build trust and credibility with senior executives (C-level, VP-level). Skilled in navigating corporate hierarchies and influencing cross-functional buying groups. Strong commercial judgement with experience in pricing strategy, margin management, and contract negotiation. Ability to balance short-term revenue wins with long-term account potential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable delivering persuasive sales presentations and business cases to senior stakeholders. Experience transitioning new accounts into long-term, recurring revenue streams. Ability to create and execute account growth strategies (upsell, cross-sell). Skilled in maintaining pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting using CRM tools
