THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Account Director to join our growing team in London. We are seeking a capable and confident operator with experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns for one of our biggest Formula 1 clients.

This is an exciting and dynamic role working on a globally-renowned account. The Account Director will lead the core account team ensuring flawless management of all sponsorship rights to deliver value across multiple key markets. As the CAA Brand Consulting business continues to grow, you will also have the opportunity to work on additional projects.

As an Account Director at CAA Brand Consulting you will be expected to:

  • Lead day-to-day operations, client reporting and budgeting
  • Develop a strong and supportive sense of leadership with the internal account team
  • Build strong relationships with senior clients, rights holders and suppliers
  • Demonstrate excellent management skills to drive value for a client\xe2\x80\x99s brand across a range of disciplines from rights management to digital communications, content creation and reporting
  • Become the custodian of an actionable strategy that maximises partnership assets, aligning with the brand and business objectives
  • Project manage campaign activations from ideation to execution
  • Event management and logistics including driver appearances
  • Work closely with different stakeholders including rights holders, agency teams (Creative, Strategy, Planning, and Brand), external agencies
  • Be accountable to client KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and measure campaign effectiveness to demonstrate ROI
  • Act as a consultant, advising and guiding the client on best practice and processes
  • Networking events and supporting with business development when required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Have a desire to challenge the norm and be inquisitive around new opportunities
  • Must have significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead level
  • Demonstrable exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development, amplification and event management is vital
  • Experience in digital marketing, including devising and implementing global digital campaigns
  • F1/motorsport sponsorship experience is not crucial, but a passion for sports and desire to learn is essential
  • A keen interest in Web3, NFTs and the Metaverse ecosystem is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client servicing, account handling and project
management
  • Strong people management skills with experience building and managing a successful team
  • Must have an organised and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure
and to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative flair with a passion for ideas and innovative thinking
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Confident presentation skills, verbal and written with a strong attention to detail
