About the role:

In response to market demand and to support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our high performing Insurance team. You will be working remotely with travel to clients and TU offices on occasion as part of our \xe2\x80\x98flex together\xe2\x80\x99 approach.

In this fast-paced new account/territory leadership role you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with our wider sales team to sell complex, high value solutions and services as well as planning, facilitating complex negotiations, typically over a long sales cycle to reach long-term agreements and commitments. Primarily, you will be growing existing clients but a key expectation of the role is to also hunt new logo clients. Your portfolio will consist of Tier 1 UK insurance companies across General Insurance and Life & Pensions, and you will have the scope and autonomy to take the full TransUnion solution set to each of your accounts with support from specialists.

Day to Day you will:

Achieve an annual revenue target within the Insurance sector

Produce professional and compelling material to support sales pitches

Personally lead, manage, and run the sales process, bringing in additional resource as required

Develop a strong personal network of contacts to continually be aware of the market, both clients and competitors, and provide valuable information back into the business

Manages some high-profile (Tier 1) accounts spanning broad geographic areas, representing significant revenue, and having diverse and complex needs.

Subject matter expert in an aspect of business, financial, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts.

Negotiates and manages the contracting process between TransUnion & client organisations.

Identifies, builds, and develops relationships with key stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities.

Manages and develops the business relationships for several strategic and/or large, complex allocated accounts and prospects to achieve revenue targets.

Identifies market opportunities for new products and solutions, building a business case, and championing through the product development process.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Deep knowledge selling solutions into the Insurance Sector especially with major insurers within the UK

Extensive experience of working in a client facing, strategic sales role or selling complex solutions to Insurance clients in a full cycle environment

Drive and enthusiasm are needed as you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for your own account book

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Full UK driving licence as some occasional travel will be expected
