About the role



We are looking for an Account Director (or Associate Director, depending on experience) to join our London Planning Team.

As an AD, you will be integral to our clients and the delivery of our projects. You will lead planning projects across London, supporting developers, councils, and other landowners to deliver new developments of all kinds (housing, commercial, industrial, cultural etc) that are essential to the city's growth - economically, culturally and socially.

We are looking for politically engaged applicants, ideally with previous agency experience in the built environment sector, or those who have a passion for local government, politics, and a knack for speaking to communities.

The successful applicant(s) will have:

Excellent interpersonal skills Empathy A proactive approach Excellent organisational skills Knowledge of politics and/or the built environment Knowledge of London politics in particular

Responsibilities will include:



Account handling and direction

Managing the overall delivery of the project with the project lead Drafting public facing materials Managing budgets
Political engagement

Developing political strategies Engaging with politicians
Social media

Organising and managing social media campaigns Content development
Team

Managing team members Supporting and developing junior team members Sharing knowledge through training
Business development / marketing

Identifying new business opportunities and pursuing them Drafting proposals Identifying and attending events
Company

Additional reporting responsibilities, including more financial responsibility Accurate forecasting on a weekly basis

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 42,000.00-48,000.00 per year

A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
